• Gail Graves – In Memoriam

  It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of Gail Graves. Gail was a founding teacher of Woking Dance Space, and took our Wednesday Contemporary class from our inception 30 years ago. 

  Under Gail’s patient and dedicated tutelage the class thrived and grew, and performed some of her thoughtful and beautiful choreography on stage in our shows, including our 20th anniversary in 2015. More recently Gail joined our Tuesday jazz class as a dancer, and we were delighted to have her perform with us in the 2024 show.

  Gail was a kind and generous teacher, and a warm hearted person. She will be sorely missed by us and the wider dance community. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
